Agri-food knowledge governance & epistemic security
I study how misinformation, AI, and advisory institutions shape whether farmers and rural communities can make well-informed, fair, and climate-resilient decisions.
Current Research Works
Misinformation in agri-food
My research examines how misinformation, online toxicity, and declining trust affect the circulation of agricultural and climate knowledge across advisory networks, online communities of practice, and agri-food policy environments.
AI in agricultural advice
My research explores how AI and digital technologies are reshaping agricultural advice, expertise, trust, and accountability, with particular attention to responsible AI adoption in farmer-centred and climate-sensitive advisory systems.
Advisory institutions
My research treats advisory services not simply as communication channels, but as governance institutions that shape whose knowledge counts, how decisions are made, and how rural actors respond to sustainability transitions.
Climate action & knowledge
My research asks how climate action depends not only on technologies or policies, but on the integrity, accessibility, and legitimacy of the knowledge systems through which farmers and advisors interpret risk and choose responses.
